Looks fantastic :)

... it needs instructions... how to play, what's the goal... :)

Thanks, it's a Lights Out variant with a solver. Flip all the tiles to black in the fewest moves possible.

Ah, thanky kindly :)

I am going to look at your solver code, i will enjoy looking at its logic ;)

was8bit 2023-11-20 14:16

Figured it out, rather clever ;)

Very simple strategy, i discovered it and wanted to save it somewhere, doesn't work in regular Lights Out.

I wonder if a solver would be possible with my lights out variants ... you have the good logical mind, my mind starts getting overwhelmed if there is too much math all at once... i have to break the math down into their simplest steps...

Ah, thanks for looking into it! Don't ask me how, but i believe linear algebra can be used to solve regular Lights Out.

Ah, its been awhile since i had studied math in depth... i got as far as advanced calculus, but over time i have gotten rusty or forgotten alot of it... i probably could brush up on it if i wanted to...

I understand the approach your solver uses.... but i wouldnt be able to prove why it works... thats why i didnt pursue math further as it would require proofs, and i really wasnt interested in proofs...

I know the basics, i mostly depend on creativity.

I like your lights-out variants, especially this one: https://lowresnx.inutilis.com/topic.php?id=2510
