Also, i am thinking about piece capturing restricted to when attacking piece is touching other teams piece... only allowing one attack of 1) highest enemy value that can be captured and 2) with lowest attacker value
And if attacked piece could also move to attack the attacker, then BOTH pieces are removed....

Also, i have some ideas for special piece.... although open to suggestions... special piece is the highest valued piece....

@gamelegend, the entire board is tiled, pieces cannot move independantly...
Since pawns can move sideways as well, there attack power will be expanded to any diagonal, not just forward... so "if" i allow them to flip down the bottom to the top, they (and any other piece) can now attack the enemy rear..

About the special pieces, i was considering an ability, like upon capture, they have one last magic skill as reappearing as a random piece in the place the attacker once was in before it captured the magic piece.... gives it one last life....

@ Timo, you might like a chess game that instead simply removing a piece, the 2 pieces goto another screen alone to shoot it out, winner then removes the other piece ;)
