The forgotten treasure

The LowResNX is an excellent 8 bit console and I love it. As any excellent game console deserves to have good games, I wished to bring to it my modest contribution.

The forgotten treasure is a small game in which you’re an adventurer, which heard about a fabulous treasure, hidden in the middle of a haunted place. Of course you’ll try your chance, but the deads will not let you quiet.

The game offers 12 levels through whish you’ll to escape to many traps and dangers. If you successfully go through these hasardous places, and if you collect enough coins, you will be able to meet the treasure keeper, and perhaps he will let you escape with the treasure.

The forgotten treasure proposes 12 levels containing many objects and monsters, and have 2 possible endings, depending on how many coins you collected.

I developed this game in 5 months 😎 I hope you’ll enjoy it.

Very atmospheric music! And seems to be fun, too, I need to play more :)

As the movement is not limited to tiles, I tried how it looks without the block style for the floor. I think it looks better.

Thank you very much to all 😍 It's nice to know that my work is appreciated.

@Timo you’re right, the graphics are lighter, which clarifies the gameplay and makes the whole look prettier. I published your work in a newer version. Thank you very much!

I like the blocks, at least in the big empty spaces... it helps to line things up.... maybe just add some flakes in the tiles to help...

was8bit: If the movement of the player would be block-wise then I would agree, but as it's free movement, I don't see the reason for it.
