what is reserved keyword?

i want use sub program name "WRITE" ,but can't

No you can't because WRITE because is a reserved keyword, like PRINT or BG.

simple explanation: RESERVED = can not use
Longer explanation: the words on the list of RESERVED Keywords are words Timo "may" use later as a real command, but these keywords are currently not real commands...
WHY?
"IF" Timo did NOT have RESERVED words, then today you could use WRITE... but "IF" later Timo updated lowres to include WRITE as a command, then all of your older games using WRITE as a variable or label or sub would not work and would produce an ERROR message....

EASY FIX: just reword WRITE as something else, like IWRITE, or DOWRITE or WRITEIT :)
