For one, it removes all the complicated dungeon type math i have been struggling with, and also it gives it a very simplified graphic theme...
It wont be a 3d simulation of real pacman, i think these exist already.. its really just me popping in a little game into my 3d environment to flesh out some ideas...

It probably wont play as well as anticipated.... i am going to finish level one, but am drawing a blank on how to make the remaining levels more challenging, as i have stripped this down to its simpliest form... i have loosely decided to limit it to only 9 levels...

The exit is a secret exit...
Notice that in the center of the maze is a shape that is kinda like a pacman shape...
... the exit is the eye, and is only available thru a secret wall behind the eye IF and WHEN all ghosts have been removed....
If you clear the first level, you will reach a blank 2nd level as shown on the top picture... (this be a full maze later)... v1.11

Ok, so what do you think of this as a game goal...
Levels 4-7 find 4 keys
Level 8, fight, open up with a key, and retrieve gold from 4 magic treasure chests

I think the game could be faster:
- shorter screen effects in battles
- faster healing on plants
I feel like I have to wait a lot without any reason for the gameplay.

@Timo... i have seen you play (your twitter vids) you are a ton faster with your buttons... your gameplay speed is indy500, my gameplay speed is chess, without the timer... light years apart ;)....
I think i will have the gameplay speed as it is for the EZ level, and make it progressively faster for norm and hard levels, hard level will have the fastest gameplay speed ...
For me, i spend time planning my route, with my hand-eye coordination not the best i will sometimes turn when i wanted to go straight, or turn twice instead of once.. just getting to a ghost takes me time... i set the current gamespeed as the fastest i could possibly handle without too many significant mistakes..
.... but i appreciate the feedback... my next update will focus on graduated speeds :)

I think the battle buttons are better now... A fires, B changes weapon, and since the other weapons are specialty weapons, while the yellow dot is the dominate weapon, the selection automatically goes back to yellow dot after you fire a specialty weapon :)

I plan on adding 2 different specialty weapon types, and each 3 will only be available on their level (level1 has special1 weapons, L2 will have w2, and L3 will have w3... remaining levels will only have yellow dot pickups, so you will have to ration your specialty weapons
Levels 4-7 will have keys1-4, and level 8 will have treasure chests 1-4
These special pickups (keys, chests) will randomly appear after you kill a ghost, you just wont know which ghost is hiding what... they will also hide other bad things like bombs or warps..
