This is a demo/proof of concept/work in progress way to edit 1024 characters at once.
I'm not where to go with that.

It can stay as a personal custom editor or a real thing that you guys want to use too.
Tell me.

Also, to be used in a game/project, it requires the use of a custom function to load the characters from the ROM to the RAM.

The video show a list of all 1024 characters loaded to the RAM, with drag-and-drop for scroll, tap to select, double tap to edit, and later in the video, the palette selector.
Also it show the character editor, that also show a small characters list.
Actually, it can't save.

My plan was to add a 16x16 characters editor, a background editor of any size, a (what timo called) meta tile editor, a palette editor.
It will take me years to finish 🤨

It’s really cool, but I will stick for personal reasons to the official editors... also I’m not very active anyway :O

I made some progress on this editor:

It is now possible to edit the characters like it was a spritesheet with 16 chara wide and show (like with the official GFX Designer) a 16x16 pixel editable canvas.
Well, edition is not possible yet, but panning is possible. And it feel good to be able to see around the chara I'm editing.

Also, in the 8x8 functional editor, there is an undo button. It allow to reverse changes on pixels and also reverse the selected character.
