When you come back from a trip you realize your home town has been destroyed. You then set out on your quest to defeat the Abyssal Wizard.
Mana Word is a short RPG game with permadeath so be careful to not die.
Controls:
Battle:
A / Z = shoot
Up = move up
Down = Move down
Shop:
U = up
D = down
L = left
R = Right
A / Z = button A
B / X = Button B

I just finished the game, but I had to lower the enemies' HP to win. I think especially at the beginning the enemies are too hard.
And I removed the WAITs before the dialogs, it was confusing. You meet a person and nothing seems to happen.
Nice idea how you switch on and off the "zone" where you can have battles :)
Cool game :) how about some sound effects?

It has something to do with the weapon. If you come from the left and go right the collision works, but if you are one field left and up from the house, then go down so the weapon covers the house, then you can walk right over it.
Not a major bug though I would say :)
