Even more bad hitboxes and raging! New lives system (look at top right corner when playing) and new air-jump mechanic! You can jump in the air 3 times before falling. Press down to save. Saving doesn’t work in browser.

Couldn't try in this game yet, but this is for the first game:
I think the save system has a design problem: When you die, you restart at the beginning of the level. If you saved somewhere in the middle, you could restart there, but you had to restart the program (or wait for game over) to be able to load.
So I was all the time reloading the program...
I think such a game doesn't really need any "game over" nor "save". Not sure if it's better if you restart at the beginning of the current screen, or at the beginning of the level. But the old save system feels to me like a cheat.
Instead of manual saving, I would just save the maximum level number you reached, and add a menu to the start screen to choose the level you want to start. You could only choose levels you already reached.
Just my opinion ;)

The game isn’t intended to be played with save states, but I added it in to assist newer players.
