Today I wanted to do a tribute to the vintage classic of Mr.Tomohiro Nishikado with a authentic black & white tribute of his chef d'oeuvre of 1978. A nice little challenge to do and first time i do a remake of this classic.
Using Apple II font, that correspond to the original's Space Invader's font. And authentic sprites.
The original game was in b/w with green cellophane placed over bottom of the screen, coloring in green shields, player and bottom line over lives display.

update: add arcade origin's animations in title and attract mode.
-A Invader run and replece the upside down "Y" on the "play" to a proper side.
-Mystical ship pass up in the *score table* screen.
