Ok, so, like, i am very glad you added "psychedelic", or i would think i was "trippin'" ;)
The "pause" before the "wipe out" is a very nice touch... overall, very cool :)

You "could" use the seprerated stands by themselves, with a gentle wave and sprite fish to make a real ocean scene....

Your new upgrade is a new creature, very nice with cool music... but doesn't quite make psychedelic....
the new one is more "dance video" ... you might consider making maybe 8 little variations that can be put together randomly after repeating maybe 4 times... each of the 8 with slightly different visuals as well... the randomness would create extended playability...
,... I think I've done something like this in original LowRes, with random blending of parts... . I might research and port it over to NX ;)

I’m always surprised when someone makes non-retro music here, sounds very cool :)
