Play and scoring are the same as in the Mastermind Game...
You get 15 chances to guess the correct 4 letter word....
You are encouraged to use real words for your guesses, but you may "cheat" if you want to ;)

... with a variation of mastermind clues ... briefly, each color represents one of your guessed letters (ordered by color)
GREEN = a letter is correct and in correct a correct spot
YELLOW = a letter is correct, but is not in a correct spot
RED = a letter is not correct
Example: in the picture below, BATH was my first guess, but the correct word is actually ANTS, so i scored 1 green for the "T" and one yellow for the "A" and a red for the "B" and "H"
The tricky part is, while playing the game, I don't know WHICH letters of my guess scored WHAT color, i have to decipher which letter scored what as i look at all the different scores for each different guess... and to choose each guess carefully to eliminate or confirm what letters scored what....
In the game below, i deciphered that "T" was definitely part of the word, and maybe "S", i also eliminated "B" ... so my guess of "ANTS" was correct by pure chance, i wasn't sure...
NOTE: the word database is not yet complete... see below posts to check the status of the most updated database :)

Version 0.2 only has words beginning with "A" or "B", and i am only half finished with entering the "B"'s...

I found an error in the scoring... will have it fixed as soon as possible...
... ah.. easy fix... works good now, even if you cheat ;)

No, but i am using a remix of the code... the only major difference is the scoring section, which is totally different... everything else is a tweaked version of the original code... its only polite to give proper credit, as if i had to make mine from scratch it would have been much boring than this ;)

Ah yes, I usually dont do word puzzles, so this is the first time I've heard of wordle...
I like to play scrabble though, but I like my version better.. no scoring, and the goal is to play 100% of the tiles... so rather than competing with the other players, it's a goal for the whole group... everyone wins if all tiles are played, everyone loses if not...
The BIG difference to rules is you can rearrange tiles much like you can on rummikub... so you may arrange any tiles on the board so that you can more easily play your tiles... usually trying to create big long words so the board becomes more playable... the only rule is that no tiles can be removed from the board, and all tiles on the board MUST form words...
One other little rule, blanks may be freely moved elsewhere on the board as well ... so blanks often keep changing their roles as to what letter they represent...
I call it Extreme scrabble... it is actually a lot harder to play and takes longer... but it is also a LOT more fun ;)
