Turn off raster FX to see how it works

To make this:

• just draw the road in GFX designer
• BG COPY it to the 32 x 32 cells of BG 1 so that all data of the road is here
• raster FX to change the location of each road line
• exponential math to make things far away be affected less

Controls:

• Touch.x to curve the road
• Touch.y to adjust the bumpiness of the road

it looks way harder than it actually is, the background is a static image that is modified by raster FX, which is quite easy to do in NX

Also nathanielbabiak has made one a while ago that's more like a full game

I love the trippy road breathing. Just add a fly swatter and some bats and you’ve got the opening scene of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas

You can adjust the effect with the vertical component of touch
It's meant to be bumps in the road, but it may not be accurate

• added real bumps
  • but the speed doesn't match with the speed of the road stripes coming towards you.
  • the bumps are coming towards you linearly and not exponentially as they should be
