Madlibs!

7

Ericisonit 2023-01-25 07:11 (Edited)

Updated to nine Madlibs you can play. You can also keep lists of your favorite funny words for each part of speech, which are automatically filled in whenever you play a Madlib, but totally editable.

Why have the computer keep track of words you’ve used when playing? Well, for the new Auto Madlibs feature, of course!

Warning: there are LOTS of blanks :))

BUT once you complete a story, you can quickly have it randomly pick from those same words you chose to fill in any and all of the other Madlibs over and over.

I’m not condoning more “mature” humor in the least, but taken in such a direction, this program can be insanely hilarious. 😇

Are you going to make a version of SCUMM?

I don’t think that would really work well with a MadLib. Although maybe the user could supply a list of words for each part of speech and then it could prompt them for each blank with a choice from the list. On my PC I used this AI powered part of speech tagger to generate madlibs randomly changing words into blanks. Then I had another part which took my favorite words for each part of speech and randomly inserted them. So you basically supply some text (story, lyrics, article, etc) and it generates and completes the madlib for you turning it into quite the hilarious alternate version which actually makes grammatical sense.
