Finally made the Hiragana version of Kana Drill!, same thing just drills you on Hiragana instead.

Sometimes, it asks for "ji", which there are two characters pronounced as such: じ (type with "zi" or "ji") and ぢ (type with "di")
This can also potentially happen with "zu", with ず (zu) and づ (du), but this is a quirk with the Japanese language (it may also happen in katakana), not the game.
