Nice, simple game. I like it!
One thing Iād like to suggest is a way to go back to the menu & choose a new difficulty without having to restart the game.

I have a little "go back" arrow button that starts a new game, taking you back to the menu..
... were you saying you wanted to change the level mid-game?
... I "could" add an additional option that graduates the level as the game progresses... like, "gets easier","stays steady","gets harder"

... ok, so these edits were easy...
For regular play, i have added 2 additional "graduated play" choices
For CHEAT MODE, which lets you manually select your difficulty for each round, edit the top code so CHEAT=#, a number from 1 to 35
In cheat mode, you can manually change and reset the current round by tapping the 2 secret buttons in the top left corner, to increase or decrease the difficulty level... the current round resets to the new difficulty level... you can tap multiple times if you want to make a big change...
When you clear a round, the next round carries on using the currently set difficulty level...
... these buttons wont work in normal mode, in normal mode you can't cheat ;)
