Experimenting, trying to get 1bit audio on NX. I discovered this.
You can produce a square wave at roughly 30hz by setting the frequency bytes to 1 and 0, and rapidly changing the volume from 0 to 15 and back. In SPKINIT the waveform of the channel being used is set to square, but other waveforms give you the same 30hz square wave with a strange fading in and out effect.
