Code is looking clean :)
I see you are using a text window, which honestly was intended for "text only" style games with keyboard text entry...
... since you are already using SPRITES, SUBS, and BACKGROUND files, you are already programing at a more advanced level...
At your skill level, NUMBER and TEXT will be easier and more precise... i have posted an example of your code with the changes so you can see the NUMBER command in action ;)
