The goal of this library is to provide a scalable framework to work with vectors, it should be compatible with other libraries to allow a modular workflow.

This is achieved by the following means:

• global constants for types and keys (so you can make C structs) for example:
  • DIM POS_V( VEC2 )
  • SPRITE 0, POS_V(X), POS_V(Y), 193
    (yes, it means you can't use X, Y, and Z as individual variables anymore)
• naming conventions
  • each function starts with a short prefix of its library
  • global variables are prefixed with "G_" or suffixed with "_G"
    (Which do you prefer: a prefix or a suffix?)
  • vectors are suffixed with "_V"
  • types could be suffixed with "_T" (a convention from C)

Let me know what you think about it, what vector functions I should add to this library, and where I can improve these conventions.

There are some extra advantages to using this approach

• although it is slower to use an array than a variable, it is faster to pass arrays to functions than passing individual variables
• Using arrays with keys makes it less likely to run into the symbol-name-too-long error
