NX's AppStore URLs lead nowhere

Yes I know. I’m currently not very motivated to pay Apple again. I guess the motivation will return eventually, but I dont’t know when…

Totally understandable, Apple has a bit of a monopoly on the platform they created

@Timo Would it be possible to at least publish the .ipa file for download somewhere on the website? I just had to update my iPhone device recently, for professional reasons, and unfortunately I cannot even restore it from my App Store account. Even after transferred all my data to my new iPhone, I just get a « cannot install the app » error message, turning it totally unusable, which is a shame.

I think with the .ipa file and a tool like iMazing I may workaround that, but at the condition that I possess the .ipa file, but extract it from my previous device is almost impossible…

If you downloaded it once from the App Store, it should be available in that account forever. It’s very strange that it doesn’t work.

I cannot create a valid IPA for downloading, because it still needs to be signed with a valid Apple certificate.

Or maybe the app is not compatible with the newest iOS?? But I also got a new iPhone from work and I think it works…

I can get my old apps back, unfortunately the LowRes NX one no longer appear, even in my App Store purchases. This is very strange, indeed.

Nope, it doesn't appear in the Purchased page. The only hope is to don't lose the device where it is installed.

The things is, LowResNX use the iCloud service and apple force developer to pay for their program just to enable it, even if the app is not on the store yet.

I know it because I have a fork installed on my iPad, but without iCloud connection.

One option for you is to build the IPA by yourself using xcode and disable iCloud.

And you have to know, If I manage to finish my fork and able to provide all the mandatory tools and support to put it on the App Store, I will put a price on it. Because like Timo, I can't afford to pay 100$ each year.

AltServer or Sideloadly should also work with the .ipa
