My ideas for the game...

Game pieces can be played on any empty land only, and once played you can not move or remove them.

Game pieces are:
- Solar Power Plant
- Common Ore Mine
- Gold Mine
- Fort

Inventory required to build a game piece is shown at bottom, Inventory in hand is shown up top.

Pirates may come along randomly and destroy your stuff, and possibly steal your inventory... Forts allow you to destroy any nearby pirate ship.

Pirates arrive onto the board on any ocean square on top, bottom, left or right edges of the game board. They only move towards another nearby ocean square, or if at the edge of the game board, they may also leave. They will not land or move onto the land squares. Only one pirate will appear at any one time.

(Expect forts) How much a piece produces depends upon how many identical pieces are touching it... by itself a piece produces 1/turn... add +1 to that pieces production for each identical piece touching it... for example, 2 Solar pieces are side by side, so both produce 2/turn electricity, if these are your only solar pieces, you get 4 electricities per turn, which means you can power 4 other pieces (mines or forts)..

If your electrical demand exceeds your electricity, the game randomly chooses which things don't get power... only powered pieces count toward the production calculatons, so if you only have 2 gold mines placed side by sides but one is now powered, you only get 1/turn gold.. if both were powered each would produce 2/turn gold..

Solar plants of course do not require electricity, they make electricity... All other pieces require electricity to run... any of these that are not powered by electricity do not count towards any production. If a piece is powered, a little power icon will appear on it to show it is powered.

Gameplay turns are advanced by tapping the bottom left Clock Check button, this advanced the game by one turn... it moves the pirate ship, it calculates power and production, and shows the results of the turn. All of this is done rather instantly. Also, pirate theft and attacks on your (non fort) pieces are also calculated at this time.

Now, during the rest of the time, the game is not doing "turns" but you can use this time to play more pieces... you also may tap any powered fort to attack pirate ships.. Now, the pirate ship can fire back and the results are randomly chosen: either nothing happens, or the pirate ship gets destroyed, or your fort gets destroyed. None of these things affect game TURNS (which involve calculating power and production)

Thanks :)

My work load is heavy, so it's hard to find time, but this does help reduce stress :)
