We talk a little bit earlier about appealing stuff. What do you think of this one? It use a free tileset from the internet.
Update: Show a possible locations for the selected guy using my previous breadthfirst explore demo. Also test the transparancy effect on the web.
Update: show and hide animation for the possible location. Remove ugly flicking effect.
Update : show and hide a path to a selected location.
Update: fix CPU at 100% while drawing frontier growth animation
Update: complete path mechanism allow to move a character on the map

Yes, I have rebuilt the GFX manually, because they won't all fit in the CHARACTERS data.

Okaaaaay. I mean the pixels of modern LCD screen switch too fast, so mixing colors by flickering between them results in flickering instead of mixed colors... It worked better on old CRTs.
It could be simulated though... if you like blurred scrolling.

Actually, on my iPad the blending seems to work OK... only rarely i see the shadow beneath character pixelate very briefly like a flash.. 99% of the time the shadow remains blended, and 100% the time, everything else remains blended...

I don’t have a clear plan yet, only some ideas. It will probably looks like a proto for a long time, resolving problems one after an other.
The only clear ideas is a tactical rpg, like final fantasy tactics or ogre battle, without story. The second idea is the possibility for each character to face 2 others in front of them.
You can already see it in the actual proto, the character as a size of 16x16 pixels but move on a 8x8 grid.
That all I got, and it’s not enough for an actual game.
