This is the actual program running when you boot LowRes NX. Keep touched/clicked to simulate start. You will see the intro twice, one is built-in, the second one is this program.

But, the Apple mobile version doesn't have this intro, unless you changed it for the new updated one Apple Store is sitting on...
... also, this one doesn't have sound :(

My test version for mobile shows the keyboard being opened up...

Aww... you can't see my attached photo :(

Right, the iOS app doesn't have this intro yet. I will probably add it to the next version. When Apple approves the current...

I kinda like both... maybe you can have the cartridge go in, and then have the keyboard opening and the sound effect occur at the same time :)
Timo 2018-11-02 06:32
?? But this is exactly what I have here, isn’t it?
was8bit 2018-11-02 12:08
I've copy pasted the code from this one, and played it using my test copy of the Apple test flight version on my iPad, and it only shows the cartridge loading, but doesn't show the keyboard opening, and doesn't make any kind of sound..
I'll test this with my windows tablet and post what happens..,

Ok, so here i am with my windows tablet...
I downloaded the code and ran with my lowres I copied from the link and it also only shows the cartridge loading but no keyboard opening and no sound.
So i then test via your auto play method online and presto i see both the cartridge loading, the keyboard opening, and the music playing.... once.... then it repeats, but only repeats the cartridge loading... the repeats do not show the keyboard opening nor do they play the music
was8bit 2018-11-02 12:34
Ok, so when i reran the file on my tablet, and it was cycling the cartridge and i pressed and finger down it did goto the keyboard opening and music, then stayed there with the little load circle turning...
was8bit 2018-11-02 12:40
Ok, so here I am back on my iPad, and when I ran my copy, and held my finger down on the screen, it did like the tablet copy and showed the keypad opening, and played the music..
I supposed I got confused as I was expecting something like the intro to original LowRes which shows the animation and plays the music automatically... where in the windows version the animation is seperated into 2 pieces...
was8bit 2018-11-02 12:43
I'm guessing that in a future iPhone / iPad version of NX, it will be a one piece animation and sound.... as the files and editor are integrated while the windows version these are seperated..
Timo 2018-11-02 16:50
The animation is for two purposes: 1. Request a program (animation loop) 2. Intro when starting program (keyboard opens).
For the iOS app it will appear only on app launch, not before every NX program start, so it will just play the whole animation once and start the app.

That's what I was thinking, you just said it a ton better :)
