Hi was8bit, I was just wondering about this. How do you go about clearing PERSIST in a 'manual' way? 🤔 By the way, I've been using that music box sound editor, and I am now feeling much more confident at editing sounds & Sound Effects, so I feel ready to move on to part 2 of learning how to use music in NX any time you get chance, hope to hear from you soon. Merry Christmas & A Happy New Year to you! 🎅🤶🎄😊👌

Was8bit. The 'Simple sound explorer' program I mean! Couldn't remember the name of it! 🙄😂😊 I've had Conjunctivitis in my eyes for a while, and woke up with my eyes just about glued together for the last few days! That's why it's taken me so long to reply to you on this. My eyes are all itchy & sore as hell - I can just barely see! 😵

Hiya....

If you are using an ipad, ipad, or iphone, and you are looking at the code (before you run it) use the UPLOAD button, and see where you can SHARE the program (upload it to this board) ... dont use the upload option, but instead directly to the right of the upload option is the option to CLEAR PERSIST MEMORY.... ;)

Thanks very much was8bit! I just couldn't find it!! 😃👌

I just cleared PERSIST manually! I did it was8bit! Following your instructions, I cleared PERSIST MEMORY after running your Tinkertown program (which is great! 😃👍) Once more I thank you! : )

Glad i could help.. :)

.. persist is a relatively new addition to NX, so this means you are ahead of others on how to manually clear it ;)

... another note... if you are wanting to save your PERSIST memory, be sure to NOT edit the program, as editing the program will also clear PERSIST memory...

Wow! 😮 Great advice was8bit! Thanks! I probably would have made that mistake and lost time & work! 😳😱!! To be forewarned is to be forearmed. An ounce of prevention . . . . . and all that! Many thanks for that. : )
