Ah, but you havent went into the SOUND COMPOSER to customize your sounds... if you tried, be sure to use DISK SAVE to save your changes...
Have you tried using SOUND COMPOSER with the below program? It is an easy way to learn how different SOUND COMPOSER settings will sound ....

I always thought sound composer was for making sound didn’t know you can also customise sounds too thanks for your help

Yes, you have all the options in Sound Composer, too, and then you can play sound effects or music from your program.
The interesting thing about the BASIC commands for sound is, that you can modify sounds dynamically. But in most cases this is not necessary.
