How To

Maybe this was discussed before, but I found these for sale in a store, and was just curious if anyone has successfully got one to work for lowres games ... I currently have only iPads and a windows computer pad...

The LowRes apps only support controllers certified by Apple (iOS 7 gamecontroller). These are quite expensive. A lot of other controllers, which are also compatible with Android usually use a different system, connecting to iOS as a keyboard and use some special keys as game buttons. I could implement support for it too, but not very soon.

This one "says" it's compatible.. not sure if it's LowRes compatible, but it's only$25 which I would buy if it would work for LowRes games :)

Ah.. I don't think the cheaper is "certified" by Apple..

This one is, but is $80 .. a lot !

So, the $80 one should work right away??

The cheap one should work :) Found this review:
And it says the original price was 80$, too :O
In general, if it requires at least iOS 7 to work, it's usually the official system and will work with both LowRes Coder as well as LowRes NX Coder. And most other game apps.
The package of the Steelseries Stratus shows the "Made for iPhone..." logo, it's the official Apple certification.

Cool, then ones I saw at the store stated they'd work for iPhones and iPads, will verify they ios7 or better, theirs were $20 too :)

.. will let you know :) the nice thing about buying from a local store is that returns are super easy and instant (just in case)

Well, I decided to buy one from a local store, and it works GREAT, for both regular LowRes as well as LowRes NX :) i LOVE how the game is FULL SCREEN as it isn't using screen controls, but the Bluetooth controller...

Yes i spent $50 on a steelseries NIMBUS controller, as the cheaper one in the store said it was only compatible with iCad games..

The controller will NOT work with my windows tablet, but someone said an xbox360 wireless controller will work ...
