Maybe some of you noticed that LowRes NX is currently not on the App Store. That's because I didn't pay the yearly 99$ to Apple yet. I was going to do it, but because of some inconveniences it didn't manage to do it yet.
Don't worry, it will come back, I'm not out of money and I like to have my stuff in the App Store. But currently I have different priorities and I was thinking...
My yearly income with LowRes NX is much lower than the costs I have for Apple and the hosting of the website. I'm not doing this for the money and I really enjoy this community. Buuuut:
Would you think it's annoying if I asked here once a year for donations? Like Wikipedia, but a bit less annoying? ;)

Yes, the in-app donations use the App Store, so they are disabled too.
I would give the option for paypal here on the website.

really sad, i only have appstore money right now (unless you find 0.10ā¬, my current paypal balance, a convinient price, but that would be a fucking joke ššš)

I personally don't like PayPal...
... that said, I want to do regular donations... but i DO forget, with my super hectic demands, I even occasionally forget to eat, but fortunately my tummy rumbles and reminds me...
So, I have an idea, how about a 1st of the month, or maybe quarterly, "donation rally" as a fun reminder.... you could just post "Donation rally, any help greatly apprecitared" and donations can be kept private so those less able won't feel badly ;)
... just a thought... :)

Also, I don't remember what the 3 amount options were... but how about a nice wide range of $1, $25, $99
Sometimes $1 donations can add up quickly, and others might be happy doing the big figure.. ;)

I'd love to help keep this site and the iOS app up in any small way I can. I do agree with was8bit about a small donation option, like just a dollar. Let us know about any further deveopments!

Current status: Iām trying to find my credit card which must be in some drawer š®
(Apple developer program can only be payed by credit card, I though paypal would work too)

I have a few people waiting for the app to be back on the store ;) currently they can't play all the games online, and one is interested in the programming side...
