Every time i press the 1st button it say (DIVISION BY ZERO IN LINE 324: BX=MAPX/MAPW*154) and i would be fine if it did this every once in a while but it happens every single time soo i don't know i have tried to redownload it multiple times but it dosen't work but every thing else works also how do i attach picture i took a screen shot and tried but it didn't work I'm on mac and I'm not all familiar with it yet

Are you editing another program or do you have a "Disk.nx" file? Seems that there is data which isn't a background/map.

I think I know what’s going on... try opening up the same file with your Character Designer... I “think” you may have accidentally saved a character file over top your background file... I tried opening up a character file with background designer... it “lets” you load the file, but the instant you hit the first button to actually edit it, i get the exact same error you do...

ok thank you was8bit i was able to fix it by deleting all back ground data and it works but if i have any bg data it dose not work i don't know why though

OK sooo digging a little deeper and did some testing i found out why it dose that so if you are in Char Designer1.3.nx and you save what you made to main BG then Disk.nx won't be read properly and thus you have division by Zero on BG Designer 1.3.nx but by deleting that and going to BG Designer and making a background and saving it to main BG then it works :)

Ok, to save a screenshot in the Mac version press Ctrl+S. The file appears on the desktop.

I had this problem- i’m pretty sure its because it reads the size as zero, and tries to do some operation with that size. Just change the size before you even look at the background.
