Hi,
I am looking for a tool to introduce physical computing to kids, using an iPad as interface. LowRes NX would be wonderful for this. Is there a way to connect to servers, mabe as socket.io messages?

Sounds cool :) kids in my family picked up the character editor and background editor rather instantly :)
I am unsure about your questions... i have a feeling APPLE will not allow it...

Maybe you can connect all iPhone and iPad devices to the same iCloud account, then install an application to chat ...
Then everyone can see projects of others and talk with them..

Olav, do you mean you want to send messages from one NX program to another? At the moment I don't have plans for this.
What exactly would you want to do with it?
