When in SOUND COMPOSER you see lots of buttons at the top...
There 4 main buttons at the top right corner, the first one on the right is DISK...
Then the next 3 going left of the DISK button are: SOUND. TRACK, PATTERN

PATTERN is what you will learn with this one...

Try editing each one... each step has a goal of what to learn...
.. you should be able to predict what effect your edits will have...
.. then make little test programs from scratch to test what you believe you know, these should work as you designed them to work..

As a kid i was often sent to bed but not sleepy so i would rewrite songs i heard or rewrite tv shows in my mind because i was bored and not allowed to do anything but stay in bed!
